The Ian Potter Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of those who apply for our grants, receive funding, or engage with us in any capacity.

Personal Information we collect

Where you choose to provide us with your personal details, we may collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, address and email address.

We will only use your personal information solely for the purposes for which it was provided - this includes, but is not limited to, the operation and management of our grant programs. For successful grant recipients, the primary contact will be subscribed to our newsletter mailing list. You may unsubscribe at any time. We may also share information about non-financial support resources and related opportunities.

Your access to your information

You may gain access to personal information about you that we hold. You can have us correct any errors or delete the information we have about you. You may opt out of any further contact from us.

When you use our website

The Ian Potter Foundation may forward and/or discuss grant applications with external reviewers and/or other trusts and foundations. The Ian Potter Foundation may also use information included in successful grant applications for promotional purposes. Save to the extent that we share your details with other potential funders (which you consent to as part of our application process), The Ian Potter Foundation ensures all information provided in and arising from grant applications will be kept confidential.

Storage of information

The Ian Potter Foundation will take reasonable steps to ensure that all personal and confidential information we collect is held in a secure format and protected from loss and misuse, as well as unauthorised access, modification, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Security measures include electronic access controls, premises security and network firewalls. We may hold your information in either electronic or hard copy form
